About Me

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Henderson and I am a fourth year psychology major and business minor student at the University of Victoria. Although I am currently living on the island, I grew up on the mainland in Langley, BC. I am taking this course as an elective towards my degree as I have heard good things about this class!

I am very passionate about mental health and am hoping to one day go into counselling, specifically regarding vulnerable youth communities. I currently work part time at a retirement home which I love! My job has shown me that I have a passion for helping people, which I really hope to be able to utilize in my future career.

During my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, and watching sunsets. Back at home I have an eleven year old cavalier spaniel who I love to play with and take for walks!
